For those of us with wide feet finding off road motorcycle footwear can be a challenge. Finding off road motorcycle footwear can be even more of a challenge with limited options available on the market. With limited options available for riders with wide feet I began to research what options were available. One option that came up frequently that was both available and well-reviewed was the Oneal Rider boots. After reading many positive reviews of these boots I ordered them.
Fit
I ordered a size 11 wide and I typically wear a size 10 and 1/2 or 11 in shoes and frequently get them in a wide 2E and sometimes 4E width. I found these to have ample room in the toe box. This was my first concern for fit and the fit for my wide foot was good. I also have fairly large calves, this would be my second fitment concern. I had previous experience with another brand of boots and found them to be much too tight around the calf. The Oneal Riders boots however I found to have plenty of adjustment in the calf and was able to adjust them to a comfortable size.

Conclusion
I have had these boots for two years now. I have found them to be a good value and provide adequate protection for many weekend trail riders. If you are looking for a top tear protection for motorcross style riding that includes frequent jumps from heights this probably not for you. I am currently a 50/50 dual sport rider that rides on local trails , gravel roads, and well traveled dirt roads. I found these to work for this casual type riding. I have had small wipe out while wearing these and found that they did help protect my feet. I had a tip over while coasting down a rocky hill and my bike did fall on my lower leg close to the ankle. The protection was enough to where I knew it fell on me but did not feel hurt from the impact.
